Another Record-Breaking Year for STD Rates

For the 6th year in a row, the CDC (with their reputation & credibility shot and rightfully so), has reported record breaking STD rates in the U.S. No matter the accuracies of their report, it would behoove anyone sexually active to practice safe sex or no sex.

New CDC data show that reported annual cases of STDs in the United States continued to climb in 2019, reaching an all-time high for the sixth consecutive year. To read the release, click here.

Random fun fact: I was on a street team in high school for Be on the Safe Side, which you guessed it, promoted safe sex for mainly teenagers but everyone. Fun times.

Inner Body did their 5th annual study of STD rates, which “analyzed the latest statistics on a city-by-city basis and developed our list of the Top 100 cities with the highest STD rates”. Find out more about their in-depth study here.

USA Today also did a study on the report and theirs highlighted the top 10 states with the highest rates of the big 3 of STDs. Find out more here.
