What the luxe is up?!
My name is DeAira, pronounced like Ciara with a D. I am proud to be from SouthEast, DC, or “The City”, but better known as the nation’s capital. I have my Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from UMUC. I love learning, both formal and informal. I also love laughing, going on adventures, researching, serving looks, watching documentaries & movies based on wild ass true events, traveling sometimes, and HR, yes the business function: Human Resources. All that and more plus I really love helping people in various ways. One of the ways is to provide and share information. I understand how powerful information is and I’ve done amazing things with it; like buy my first property in DC for half of what it’s worth (yes, instant equity).
I love information. From places to go, to the best food spots and things to do, explore, know and learn; information provides it all! It has enlightened me, humored me, inspired me, humbled me, impacted me, elevated me… the list literally goes on. I could no longer contain the desire to pursue my wildest dreams and finally carve out my little corner of the Internet to express my creativity and share the tons of various and random, but interesting (and useful) information and content I come across.
What does luxury have to do with information?
I think of information as a luxury because it has afforded me many….insights, for lack of better words.
Luxury, luxe for short, was always a word that confused me when it was automatically equated to JUST expensive items or being monetarily rich. Keyword was.
Luxury, to me, is about quality and beauty both of which information can be and IS.
Luxury is quality.
Luxury is details.
Luxury is beauty.
Luxury is personal.
